This fragrance is purely floral and youthful. I read, re-read and then again read it over and over again. There's a soft spot in my heart for them due to my affinity for Easter. I smell muguet only very faintly. Jessica Mcclintock -- which, to my nose, is quite a different fragrance than this. For the price, I doubt I will buy a bottle of this reformulation for myself.
It is lily blossom cups for fairy baths, and the soaring clarity of young Judy Collins' voice.
It is refreshing makes you feel good and is so elegant. That said, a friend of mine pointed out that there's actually quite a bit of jasmine in this blend, and jasmine can read like mothballs on me too, so that might be the culprit. Bottled in - matured in Sherry cask - 47 years old Mer. However, my nose grows too accustomed to the perfume to fully appreciate this stage of the fragrance. I love lily of the valley and how its smell was reproduced in this scent.
